Moth Collection
Spring 2007

Materials:      
Old newspapers, cashmere sweater, cast aluminum, Plexiglas, pins.

Moth Collection explores the elements of time and decay vs. the impulse to preserve and archive.  The moths are made from parts of Toronto Star newspapers ranging in date from 1967-2006. The dates themselves have been cut from the newspapers and serve as identifying labels for the moths.
